He competed on the prestigious Florida Dressage circuit for 3 years where he and his horses were consistent winners. He has been training professionally for over 40 years and was awarded his Silver Medal on a horse that was scheduled to be euthanized\, it was so dangerous and unmanageable. A testament to a style of training that considers each horse an individual with different needs.\n“Horses should be our partners\, not our enemies yet the majority of what we see today is an adversarial relationship between horse and rider. Regardless of which discipline you observe there seems to be a need for a return to Classical Foundation Training which is simply a system developed to gymnastically improve a horse’s ability to carry a rider and hold itself in balance. Only when a horse has been taught to engage deeply from behind and push it’s back up under the rider can be truly balanced and at that point will it accept the rider’s aids without tension or resistance\, performing on the weight of the reins.” \nWhat you will learn at an Art2Ride Clinic…\nA system based on Classical principles and correct foundation work.\nYour horse must be relaxed\, rhythmical\, impulsed\, supple and engaged thru the back. When I was 14 I switched the riding school for breaking Arabian thoroughbreds and I started having my first interest for natural horsemanship. When I was 16 I got in touch with western riding for the first time and at age 20 I bought my first horse. A 3yo quarter horse. \nLooking back I had not idea what I got myself into. I just made my dream come true and learned everything the hard way. Mostly by working very hard. After spending over a year working for a world class reining trainer\, I headed back to Amsterdam and took a break. When my QH was about 8 I bought a big truck\, a trailer and we started showing again. At the same time she became friends with my current Arabian thoroughbred mare Pura. \nEverything I learned over the years before just wouldn’t work with Pura. Instead of getting better\, she became unrideable. \nI started researching ways to train the back and eventually got in touch with art2ride. A lifechanger for me. Eventually Santer crossed my path\, a 18yo Dutch Warmblood and so I started another rehab horse. \nNow I mostly specialize in rehabilitation (often old schooling horses) and making the connection between art2ride classical foundation and western riding. I am open for new clients and clinics all over Europe. I regularly travel to Spain\, Italy and England. \n  \nSabine de Jong \nIt is easiest to call me (via whatsapp or Facebook is also possible!) \n+31 6 42920191 \ninfo@SDJhorsetraining.com \nWebsite: www.sdjhorsetraining.com

SUMMARY:Berlin Classical Riding Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Come join Art2Ride in Berlin on May 18th and 19th 2019! \nStable location:\nAm Bahnhof 3\n14621 Schönwalde-Glien \nTo sign up for this clinic\, please contact:\nKatharina Togotzes\npreferred contact by E-Mail: kt@togotzes.de\nPhone +49 172 382 39 86 (I am seldom available during office ours) \nAbout the clinician:\nWill Faerber is a Master Horseman who studied extensively in Portugal with Nuno Oliveira whom he considers to be his greatest influence. He has competed in Eventing\, Jumping and Dressage as well as coaching his students to regional and state championships including Horse of the Year awards. If the foundation work is correct the horse will be a pleasure to ride. Learn to take the resistance out of riding for your horse is a willing partner if given a chance. There are no shortcuts and to force a horse into a frame is not going to develop lightness\, harmony\, balance and willingness.\nThe rider must also develop an understanding and feel for how they are influencing the horse. Your position and your own self carriage is reflected by the horse. The progressiveness of our system develops a rider’s skill based on feeling\, the aids are an indication of what a rider wishes the horse to do\, not a use of force.\nAn Art2Ride Clinic focuses on making sure the foundation work is correct and that the horse is not being asked to hold himself in a frame he is not capable of\, creating resistance. Once the foundation work is solid the horse is ready to progress\, always maintaining the basic principle of relaxation\, suppleness\, connection and the horse engagement over the topline. Regardless of what discipline you wish to do\, this system will improve the horse physically and mentally.\nArt2Ride Clinics are held internationally and throughout the US\, a successful progression of horse and rider that brings a new level of understanding and harmony to your riding.

SUMMARY:UK Classical Riding Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Come join Art2Ride in the UK on September 8th-12th 2018! \nLocation: \nProfessional Equine Services in North Nottinghamshire. NG22 OAQ \n\nContact : Kate Fox\nC.e.thompson0@googlemail.com\n07929303208.\n  \nAbout the clinician: Will Faerber is a Master Horseman who studied extensively in Portugal with Nuno Oliveira whom he considers to be his greatest influence.  He has competed in Eventing\, Jumping and Dressage as well as coaching his students to regional and state championships including Horse of the Year awards. Only when a horse has been taught to engage deeply from behind and push it’s back up under the rider can be truly balanced and at that point will it accept the rider’s aids without tension or resistance\, performing on the weight of the reins.”\n\nWhat you will learn at an Art2Ride Clinic…\nA system based on Classical principles and correct foundation work.\nYour horse must be relaxed\, rhythmical\, impulsed\, supple and engaged thru the back.
