Hello, this is Ryanne Davis and this is the first of a series of submissions for the Associate Trainer Program where I will be discussing the development of a horse named Ariel. Ariel is a 16-year-old Arabian who was ridden for several years of her life with her nose pinned to her chest so that she was severely behind the vertical, which caused her to develop a lot of back and body problems since she was not encouraged to work through her back.
